The general reaction to the new partnership arrangements involving National Manufacturing Week and Austech is very positive with several of the largest traditional and new exhibitors coming on board almost immediately.
Bookings are in from Greenmoore, Tommotek, Flecknoe, Tasman Machinery, Multicam, Trotec Lasers, Culamix, Avian and others. Large sites are being held for Haitan Direct, TCL Hoffman, Equip, CTS Telford Smith, Applied Machinery, Comtec IPE plus areas for national pavilions from Taiwan, China and India.
“We expect to be around 50% sold by the end of May after agents return from Chinaplas in late April. And this is only after dealing with the 2008 exhibitors. There are some who need more time for consultations and these will progress up to the end of October 2010. There are also significant new enquiries from overseas, particularly from regional offices in Asia as there will be no ASEANPLAS in 2011.
An advisory committee has already been formed and will reconvene to discuss aspects such as the fostering of new technical innovations, the seminar-workshop program and social networking opportunities.” says organizer John Kelly
“In the area of trade visitor promotion we are confident of 14,000 plus visitors over the three shows which will present fantastic new business opportunities. Collectively we will be allocating up to $600,00 to achieve that ”.
